I just looked on Mini’s Canadian website and couldn’t find a 3 pedal option on any of their models. only the 8spd auto and 7spd DCT.

That’s OK, Canada gets a bunch of cool cars we don’t get

You can get the Civic Sport hatchback with a sunroof up there (in the US, the Sport hatch doesn’t have a sunroof, only the Sport Touring, and even then, the manual sport touring hatch is only available in a couple boring colors,while Canada has a wider selection)

The Civic hatch is made in the UK, so it’s like a Mini Cooper done right. Lucas electronics that actually work :p

Also, you get the Elantra GT manual hatch with the panoramic sunroof for $22k in your dollars, plus an exclusive orange color we don’t get down here. In the US, an Elantra GT with a sunroof requires an automatic transmission and goes for $27k US dollars.

And don;t forget, you still get the Micra up there :o)

I don’t know about Canada but they stopped importing the m anuals into the states temporarily as they went through a re-certification process. They are resuming orders for the manuals in the states in February with a March production timeline.

It’s supposedly a short term absence. They’re supposed to bring them back in March. It’s th e same way in the US.

DONT WORRY ME LIKE THIS I love my R56 but it’s not going to last forever, I will need to buy another MINI someday and it will either be electric or have 3 pedals.
